A native of Arizona, Dr. Wildung completed his undergraduate studies at Arizona State University. He obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Wildung has just joined the Family Care family when Dr. Mark Wade, D.D.S. retired from the practice after 31 years practicing with us.
Dr. Wade was committed to staying current with the latest dental advancements, and we are proud to say that Dr. Wildung will continue this trend. He regularly attends post-graduate courses to master the art and science of dentistry, so that he can provide the highest quality of care for his patients. His areas of particular interest are restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Stephen Folson is a Board Certified Periodontist and Dental Implant Surgeon. He was thrilled to join Family Care Dental in August 2020, after 38 years of private practice in the West Valley. Steve is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago Dental School (1979). Thereafter, he completed a general practice residency at the VA in Ann Arbor, Ml (1980), and a two-year residency in periodontics at Loyola University of Chicago. He received a specialty Certificate in Periodontics and a Masters’s Degree in 1982.
Subsequently, Steve and his wife Gretchen, both from Grand Forks, ND, relocated to Arizona to begin his private practice serving Peoria and the Sun Cities. He was awarded Diplomate Status by the American Board of Periodontology in 1988.
Dr. Folson has placed dental implants for over 30 years and strongly believes in collaborative and patient-centered care. He truly enjoys building relationships with his patients and the entire Dental Home team. Steve and Gretchen are blessed to have their two adult children and lovely daughter-in-law living in the Phoenix area. Aside from dentistry, Steve enjoys family vacations in Northern Minnesota on Lake Bemidji, gardening, college football, movies, and their two terriers, Oliver and Max.
Dr. McDougall loves the artistic and technical aspects of dentistry, but her favorite part is developing and fostering lasting relationships with her patients through a beautiful and healthy smile.
Dr. McDougall’s interest in dentistry stemmed from a childhood fear of the dentist and the desire to change the reputation of the field by making everyone comfortable in her dental chair. She wants you to feel heard and understood by providing you with a personalized treatment plan that is specifically catered to your needs and desires.
Dr. McDougall completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California and obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Southern California. Dr. McDougall continues to enrich her knowledge through continuing education courses in order to provide the highest quality of care.
Dr. McDougall comes to Family Care Dentistry with excitement and eagerness to provide all of her patients with the best dental experience possible.
